The recent (May 5th, 2014) SNMMI SmartBrief reported,

“Jubilant DraxImage has announced a one-time price increase for macroaggregated albumin and diethylenetriamine pentaacetate, used for ventilation/perfusion scans in the U.S. Jubilant President Martyn Coombs said the price hike was instituted to ensure long-term supply to the medical community. The company also plans to invest in manufacturing changes to avoid shortages.”

The dramatic price increase from Jubilant DraxImage of MAA and DTPA has created quite a stir across the Nuclear Medicine industry.  Here is a letter from the President and CEO of CRS Nuclear Services, Daniel Guarasci, showing a request for action against this price increase.
